CAPER COURT UPDATE
For all those lovely, loyal readers who have been emailing me over the past 3 years, I am happy to tell you that I have finally finished no. 8 in the Caper Court series, and am very pleased with it (as is my loyal friend and fan, Geraldine, to whom I entrusted the task of reading it with a critical eye). I am now setting about the task of finding a publisher so that it sees the light of day. If I succeed, maybe 'Starting Here, Starting Now', which was my last stand-alone novel and which has been languishing on a memory stick for 4 years, will make it into print, too.

I am now taking a well-earned rest from Leo and Anthony and the rest of the Caper Court inhabitants, and am working on the outline of my next book. My day job as a lawyer gets in the way somewhat, but there are always weekends and evenings. And with the prospect of my youngest going off to university next autumn (grades willing), finding time to write should be easier.

I have also been working on a concept for TV drama series with Geraldine (we like to work in City wine bars), and it is still with an agent - it's a very hard time to break into TV right now. Once Geraldine has come off her New Year detox we shall be returning to the wine bar to work on another idea.

My thanks to everyone who has been in touch, and for all the encouragement you have given me in finishing the latest. Your emails make it all worthwhile.

I shall be updating the website with more info about the publication of the new Caper Court as soon as I have news.
